1. About the AMS Scientific Conference
AMS Scientific Conference 2026 | Reinventing the City | Connecting the Dots, Closing the Loops. The AMS Scientific Conference will be held on April 14 – 16, 2026 at the Marineterrein in Amsterdam. Each day of the conference is dedicated to a distinct theme. Please find all relevant information about the program here.
2. Ticket options
- Full conference (three-day) access: Immerse yourself in the entire event, which spans three days, each dedicated to a distinct theme as described above.
- Single-day access
- Two-day access
- Student access: We offer exclusive student rates to encourage students to participate. Student passes are available to currently enrolled students with valid student IDs. PhD students are not eligible for student tickets.
- Tickets for speakers: The conference fees for speakers are the same as those for attendees.
Conference registration deadline for speakers to be included in the program: February 1st, 2026.

4. How to get there and getting around How to access the Marineterrein
The porter's lodge is directly on your left upon entering the Marineterrein through the main entrance. You do not need to check in at the porter's lodge, but you may stop here to ask questions. Post and goods should be delivered here.
Within walking distance from Amsterdam CS
It takes about fifteen minutes to walk to the Marineterrein from Amsterdam Central Station.
Take tram 26 towards IJburg and get off at the Muziekgebouw. Follow the stairs down, then turn left. Walk down Dijksgracht and turn right to cross the bridge toward Marineterrein.
Bus 43 towards Borneo Eiland takes you to the gate of the Marineterrein. Get out at Kattenburgerstraat.
Getting around the Marineterrein
The buildings at the Marineterrein are numbered. There are no street names. For that reason, it is important to know which building number you need before arrival.
5. I'm registered; how do I receive updates on the AMS Scientific Conference?
You will receive updates via email.
6. Lunch and networking
Lunch will be provided during scheduled breaks for attendees and speakers to eat and socialize between sessions at the conference.
7. What happens to my registration if I cannot attend the AMS Scientific Conference?
You may cancel your registration in writing at least 20 days before the event by emailing amsconference@caos.nl. If so, the organisation will endeavour to refund your organization’s contribution within 14 days. Please find Terms & Conditions – AMS Scientific Conference 2026 here.
