AMS Scientific Conference 2026 cover image

We extended the deadline for submissions of abstracts from November 1st towards November 15th!

The third AMS Scientific Conference explores how cities can become more resilient, regenerative and just while ensuring economic stability. Over three days, we focus on Unexpected Connections, Closing Loops, and Breaking Boundaries.

Date: 14-16 April 2026 | Location: AMS Institute, Marineterrein Amsterdam.

We invite scientists, policymakers, students and professionals to submit abstracts (250-450 words) on topics such as mobility, energy transition, circularity, digitalization, urban food systems, and climate adaptation. Young scientists are especially encouraged to contribute and to run for AYSA (AMS Young Scientist Award) prize. Before applying, please read the AMS young scientist award regulations.

Scholarships:
We recognize that financial and travel circumstances may pose barriers to participation in the AMS Scientific Conference 2026, particularly for colleagues outside of the European Union. To support international colleagues in attending the conference, AMS Institute would like to offer five (5) scholarships, each up to €1000 (including VAT), to visiting researchers and academics who submit an abstract. Read about the selection criteria and make sure to apply (and submit your abstract) before November 15th.

Deadlines:
